Born into a rich legacy of music, Bhuvanesh Mukul Komkali was destined to be a singer. Surrounded by the sound of an incomparable vocalist tradition Bhuvanesh grew up with the rhythms and shifting weight of original compositions imbuing his senses.

Grandson of Pandit Kumar Gandharva, son of Mukul Shivputra, Bhuvanesh's musical journey began, listening to early morning practice, performances and recordings. This amazing repertoire has enriched him. Bhuvanesh's musical quest continues today under the tutelage of Smt. Vasundhara Komkali and Shri Madhup Mudgal.

Learning the rudiments of vocal music under such accomplished teachers has depended Bhuvanesh's appreciation for his forefathers' talents. By following the values and philosophy established by Pandit Kumar Gandharva, Bhuvanesh proves his commitment and persistence for music through his singing. He is currently engaged in enriching the archives of Pandit Kumar Gandharva's music using the latest in digital technology.

Bhuvanesh has composed music for Hindi feature film 'Devi Ahilya'. Bhuvanesh has performed successfully in almost all over India in reputed music festivals and has been highly appreciated by the well versed audience. He has been awarded with scholarship by cultural department of Government of India.

Sanjay Deshpande

Sanjay Deshpande is a young talented Tabla Player based in Pune. He was born in a music loving family  and was introduced to the art of playing Tabla under Late Pt. Sabade at Pune Bharat Gayan Samaj. Later he took Taleem from the renowned Tabla player Pt. Suresh Talwalkar in a Guru Shishya Parampara.

He also had the privilege of understanding the beauty of Punjab Gharana  under the guidance of  world renowned Tabla maestro Ustad Alla Rakha Khan Saheb. At present he is taking guidance from Shri. Yogesh Samsi  and Pt. Vivek Joshi.

Sanjay is recipient of the coveted “Ahmedjaan Thirakwaa Scholarship” for Solo Performance. He has accompanied renowned artists like Smt. Vasundhara Komkali, Pt. Ulhas Kashalkar, Pt. Smt. Malini Rajurkar, Pt. Jasraj, Dr. Prabha Atre, Pt. Dinkar Kaikini, Dr. Ashwini Bhide-Deshpande, Pt. Smt. Veena Sahastrabudhe and many more.
He has performed in major conferences on national and international levels. He is empanelled as GURU at the Lalit Kala Kendra, University of Pune. He has number of  recordings released. His fusion album “Wind From Ayuta” with Korean musicians won the Best album award of the year - 2002 in South Korea.

   

Shri. Vyasmurti Katti, born and brought up in Solapur, was initiated into music at a very young age. Later he took a systematic training in harmonium under Late Pt. Ramacharya Bagewadi of Solapur. Presently he is learning vocal music under the expert tutelage of Pt. Indudhar Nirody, a very senior exponent of the Agra Gayaki.  Shri. Katti has developed a lucid style of playing harmonium and has won the appreciation of the artistes as well as the connoisseurs of music.

He has accompanied eminent artistes like  Dr. Gangubai Hangal, Bharat Ratna Pt. Bhimsen Joshi, Pt. Ramrao Naik, Pt. Rajan and Pt. Sajan Mishra, Pt. Dinkar Kaikini, Pt. Yashawantbua Joshi, Pt. Ajoy Chakraborty, Pt. Ulhas Kashalkar, Pt. Indudhar Nirody,  Smt.Vasundhara Komkali, Begum Parween Sultana.

Shri. Katti has also played nagma with Tabla solo and Kathak performances. He has played nagma with the eminent Kathak dancer Pt. Birju Maharajand well-known tabla artistes like Pt. Bhai Gaitonde, Pt.Suresh Talwalkar, Pt.Anindo Chatterjee and others.

Shri. Katti has toured extensively and has given several performances in India and abroad.
